The oak has been cleaned but not refinished. It is not lacquered or varnished. It has been rewired with a ground to each shadeholder.
The chain is unique to this fixture so any adjustments to one length will be at the expense of another. As it is currently configured it has a total drop of 10 feet.
The center drop can be wired to a separate switch.
